Edit: most of its show allotment was likely matinees, so the Thursday competition impact stating at 3pm would be smaller than what you expect over the weekend

The 7th weekend where Thor opens will likely be the first "big" drop in the coming weeks. I expect probably 40-45%. 

20% drop coming off this holiday weekend maybe a bit overly generous. But you never know, I guess.

I'm expecting a 30-35% drop next weekend (25% on top of Father's Day inflation), and then sub 10% drop the week after (July 4th)

It dropped 29% after opening on a bigger holiday weekend with 19m in previews, so it wouldn't even be that wild for TGM.

I'm of two minds about this. Not really thrilled at the idea of Pixar continuing to milk franchises so I don't mind seeing that strategy getting taken down a peg, though I do fear their funding will take a hit if Disney interprets this as "we can't even rely on their established IP anymore". They really need Elemental to deliver next year in any event.
