Puss in Boots 2's performance this week if it's percentages we're identical to Sing's.

Wednesday- $1.94M(-41%)

Thursday- $1.69M (-13%)

16-day Total: $73.95M

Weekend 3: $11.09M (-34%)

Friday- $2.79M (+65%)

Saturday- $4.88M (+75%)

Sunday- $3.42M (-30%)

19-day Total: $85.04M

So a $2M Wednesday performance today is a good goal to aim for.

Sing had good weekends but poor weekdays from here on out looking at the numbers. I expect PIB to hold better during the week. 2.2M today and 1.9M tomorrow, 12M weekend, 86.5M total.

It's crazy watching the lead grow and shrink because of the calendar.  Day 16 was behind Day 4 and then 2 days later it beats the best lead by $11m.

I think Wednesday is gonna have a bigger drop than a lot are expecting. I think for the remainder of its run A2 will have more inflated Tuesdays than NWH which typically comes with bigger Wednesday drops. Anything over first Avatar would be great today, but it wouldn’t shock me if it dropped a little below it. Conversely, I think weekend numbers will be very good compared to weekdays.

Interesting. I was thinking the opposite that weekdays may actually be stronger than A1 in general, in spite of it not matching those insane weekends.

I think people today are more used to going to a movie whenever rather than movies being more of a weekend or holiday tradition like in 2010 still. It’s kind of like how studios were still afraid to release big movies outside of the standard 5 months they always have, but now they’ve successfully released several at all times of year.

The 3D trailer that I saw both times was Guardian of The Galaxy 3 and it was neither good or bad. The difference to The Way of Water is absurd...

It's incredible how much better the 3D is in TWOW. I was getting a headache after watching two 3D trailers (Mario, Ant Man) and had to close my eyes. Then I spent 3 hours watching TWOW with no issues whatsoever.
