I was hoping for a 200m start but Asian and LATAM simply isn’t good enough. Like in Malaysia, dune isn’t even getting second place on the latest weekend chart, not only beaten by KP4 and the first place belong to a local language film.

Maoyan and Taopiaopiao both have forecasted Dune Part Two at a $9-10M OD. Surely it could do better than $21M for the weekend off that. Let's see.

But friday is International woman day, which is a big moviegoing day in China. Typically movie jump >100% on this day, which probably lead to some frontloaded sales.

Good point. Did not know that. So what kind of IM we are looking from OD. @Issac Newton said 70-80m yuan OD is expected at the moment.

Mark is saying just 15% drop in Germany. I hope it has very good drops elsewhere as well.

After the second international weekend I can dig up my Dune 1 stats on week by week and market by market performance to compare where this is heading internationally. +50%, +60%, +70% OS or something else. It's doing great in any case but the question is how great?

Normal. Low appeal film concentrated in PLFs so walkups are less.
