Considering Penn spent time with the president of Ukraine the day before and the next few days following the start of the invasion.... We should at least give him props for that. 

If he actually has a real stance on anything. and is not just trying to show how edgy and daring and outrageoous he is.

Sad thing is does not see the whole act had gotten old.

Hell, Maher was that way before he got old.

Not to mention his anti science opinions; on one time he was really pushing the "germ theory of disease is a hoax" idea and was a pioneer (if you can call it that) of the Celeb Anti Vax movement.

SO I am not surprised at all of his being an asshat here.Just keeping in his pattern of behavior.

He was pretty much a failed talk show host before he picked up there was a lot of dislike of reilgion out there and he begun saying   nasty things about religion before that became an Internet staple. He has always  been about being outrageous, problem is you go donw that road you end up making a fool of yourself with your attempts at being "shocking and edgy".

Dude is closer to being a left libertarian than either a liberal or a leftist.  Even "left libertarian" doesn't fit all that well but neither does libertarian under its current meaning.

 

"Contrarian asshole" also works just as well, but even there, there is a fairly consistent ideology from Maher the last 30 years.  It's just he's been bashing the GOP for so long and so much people just presumed he was a liberal, again if an asshole and...

 

Well, no. Not really.

Probelm with the COntrarian Asshole routine is it gets very old very fast.

According to AMPTP, the WGA didn't answer them with a proposal.

 

Now, it seems the WGA have asked AMPTP for a new meeting. I've really hope it's true the WGA didn't show a counter-proposal.

 

It would be pretty bad if the WGA really show a counter-proposal and AMPTP completely ignored them, but WGA would still ask for a new meeting.

Well, no. Not really.

Gonna be honest, I'd struggle to call anyone this unsympathic towards working class strikes left in any capacity, outside of tankies, and even then it's heavily debatable if they're actually left wingers, rather than right wingers who really like Soviet aesthetics
