Promotional plans could be impacted and the knock-on effect of a prolonged strike would mean lack of product later in 24/25, so spread out what you have now rather than go through a wasteland later...

It really depends on how long it will go for.

If any movie needs pick up shoots before release they are screwed. Especially movie like Marvels where Disney is known to do last minute pick ups 🙂

 

WB already are rumored to move Dune 2 which was already on accelerated schedule and Aquabro 2 which makes sense as this year is brutal for DC movies.

It would be crazy to move Aquaman 2 out of that Christmas slot. It'll perform so much worse anywhere else on the schedule. If it does though, The Marvels will most likely swoop in and grab that date.

No, but a studio that might have 3-4 releases in Nov-Dec might decide 1-2 this year and the rest in the first half of 24 is better. That's why WB is prominent in the discussion, because they have 4 big releases in that time frame.
