Wouldn't be surprised if it dips below 1m with the way things are heading.  EA likely pulled in over 1m with the two nights so it's not all bad news.

This is a very impressive run so far.  Every day it surprises me again.  Looks like it's not just local either so I don't think 3m is out of the question!

I just checked Longlegs presales in my area and was honestly shocked - I haven't done enough tracking to make any projections myself, but at six Chicago suburban theaters it's sold 328 tickets so far, significantly ahead of Bikeriders (123) and Monkey Man (173 Dolby tickets/67 non-Dolby) at the same point in the same theaters. And hype only seems to be picking up with strong reviews and extremely flashy marketing.

As in sales in those theaters are from yesterday's run?

Yes. Whatever I was able to capture previously, I am still keeping them. As I said I expect theaters to be back working soon and tickets that were sold should stay the same. I dont think they will reimburse them. But shows this week are a question. I will keep those separate starting tomorrow if they stay closed. But impact to small movies are very minor while its few thousand tickets for Deadpool.

Yep I would recommend doing that as well.

From last two weeks I've been wondering if it may actually open to what these sales have been suggesting. So far seems like it may.

Why is Longlegs breaking out? Its a Neon film that looks like the typical A24 horror film after seeing the trailer.

It's like a lot of horror movies this last year ( M3GAN, Black Phone, Talk To Me, Smile) , maybe people is demand of original horoor movies , we should say box office for horror movies this year is complicated .

Tmobile is tuesday(started this morning). Sales yesterday is nothing about that for sure. You can use the offer until Sunday for any movie.

Marketing online for this is insane, clever and extremely creative with it’s zodiac approach.

I do think audiences are likely to be disappointed because latest reviews are pretty good but are saying the movie is more of a slow burn than the typical horror flick. But the OW could be great if it keeps going the way it is.

Maybe the public will like this , for example , Talk To Me has a B+ which is really good for Horror movie and is A24 movie .
