The way I see it, Eternals was a hint of what could happen if Marvel missed the mark, but then they salvaged themselves with NWH and MOM back to back. MOM treaded a bit into mixed territory but it was mostly well received, then Love and Thunder shit the bed afterwards in terms of quality and really was only saved because of audience good will for Thor. Wakanda Forever then showed people the MCU could still deliver and brought a lot of goodwill back, Ant-Man 3 trailers looked good and people were hyped seemed like people were ready to forgive LAT and Eternals hence the good OW, and imo that opening weekend was the moment Marvel lost the audience's good will. It was a case of people actually did show up and Marvel just shit the bed, if they had nailed that one film imo we would be in a very different position in terms of audience goodwill. It brought light to all the wackyness and worst parts of Phase 4 that before people were ready to forget if Marvel had delivered. In a universe where Quantumania was good and setup Kang well, i think Gotg Vol.3 could've made a Billion, The Marvels could've atleast made $500M we'd be going into 2024 with amazing momentum.

And now we're at a pivotal situation again, the audience is ready to give Marvel one last chance based on past trust of Deapdool and Logan, and Guardians 3 delivering. And I think if they do deliver, they have a pretty good 2025 lineup to build up positive momentum again

Thunderbolts is going to shit the bed. 50m ow if it’s lucky.

I don’t see much optimism on Thunderbolts even if great but I think it’s more important that it and Cap 4 are good movies than hits to build back goodwill.

I think any total doom or gloom prediction right now is just stupid with this film, once we see audience reception to a trailer then we'll know. Most important for its and Cap 4's performance rn is Deadpool and Wolverine being well received, making bank and recovering audience good will. I think quality wise Thunderbolts looks the best bet for 2025 with the creative team that worked on it, so even if OW is lower it can always be big through WOM

I expect some projects that will further tie in the Avengers movies... Shang-Chi 2 and Spider-Man 4 both very likely to end with their characters directly joining whatever Avengers adventure we're going at. I do believe that maybe a bigger gap between A5 and A6 will benefit.

I actual think different; that maybe Fiege wants to get away  a littler from everything being so interconnected.I have no doubt Spidey will be in Avengers 5 not so sure about Shang Chi. ANyway, I don't think there will be direct tie in the main movie; any tie in would be a mid or post credit sequence.

My guess is we get some more light at sdcc

Or maybe not.

I think Marvel it self still has not developed a clear path forward after what happened last year, and want to see what happens with thunderbolts and Cap 4 before moving forward. Whant you h as a bad a year as Marvel had last year, you makes a lot of changes.

If they're filming next year and hiring Levy they absolutely are gonna have some news. Maybe a slate reveal up till Avengers 5. They have a ton of stuff shot now.

Oh, they will reveal something, but if I doubt any really huge annoncements about new projects. Marvel is going to have to be more caustious then they have in the past.

Good line up...but 10 characters for just the first movie line up is too much....Its a movie not a show...They should learn from the Eternals bloated lineup mistake

I mean X Men are very different from Eternals.

Pretty sure here they just need to focus on main 3/4 not including Xavier ,Magneto and Wolverine

A movie trilogy with focus on Storm , Cyclops and Rogue would do great with Jean Grey side plot

Yeah, because that's been working out so great.
