It comes off as stunt casting to me, I don't like it at all. RDJ is a great actor What's the best option to bring in Doom on quick notice due to reshuffling saga without fucking him up? Just because some didn't expect him to comeback as Doom doesn't make it insane in my opinion. RDJ will probably be a great doom but this is best bet and safest choice MCU could have done.
