Plus the reactions from the social media embargo were universally positive

That is true.

Let this WB review thing be a lesson to us all when November hits and JL is on the verge of coming out. Good or bad that movie's reviews are not going to be coming out two weeks ahead of time.

If they don't have a social media embargo like they did for Wonder Woman, Dunkirk and It. Then we might have to worry. But November is still 3 months away

Why did Warners wait til 2am to lift the embargo? Most of these reviews are fine.

Same reason they lifted Annabelle's embargo 2 months early but waited till week of release for Dunkirk and Wonder Woman. Who the fuck knows

I agree with you there, a social media embargo would be worrisome.

Thinking about upping my prediction to 88mil.

They are not going to know if the reviews are positive or negative until after the embargo is lifted.

That's why the embargo is there, so the public don't get advance warning from RT that they are about to pay to see a pile of poo.

It was tracking at 60-70M before these reviews. And tracking is usually off. Especially for event type films like this that get good reviews
