Yes, but my point is Momoa does not have all the baggage that Miller has. You don'thave to worry about  Momoa not being able to finish a movie because of legal problems or substance abuse. You do have to worry about that with Miller. Sure, he is behaving well now, but he has fallen off the wagon too many times.

CEO pay have gone Kray while lower level employees are struggling as their pay does not even keep up with inflation. I dont think Zaslav has done anything to deserve 39M !!!! WBD is in horrible shape due to levered BO of WB by AT&T who managed to exit out leaving WB holding the bag. Its unfortunate FTC allows this kind of Levered BO which ultimately screws up these companies. Toy'srus went out of business due to LBO by a Realestate trust. I am not sure WBD will be able to get out this debt. I feel Zaslav is setting up for Comcast or someone else to take over this business.

It really is all up to The Flash now to get WB out of its slump isn't it? Shazam is looking to end up making less than Black Adam and Fantastic Beasts 3 WW gross despite not having a 200 million budget. Praying for WB at this point because they sure do need it.

WB will survive.

I actually have come to a sttitude that if a studio makes movies that fail at the box offcice, they sort of deserve what they get. One of the main purposes of the marketplace is to punish incompetence.

Recent controversies surrounding JK aside, it was only a matter of time until they found a way to return to the Harry Potter well again someway somehow. It has been 22 years since Radcliffe first sported the glasses and the lightning bolt, after all. Did think they would wait until later in the decade though.

 

Mostly curious how the casting for this will go, for the film series Rowling requested an all-British cast but that might pose a challenge here if it's names that they want when it seems like an overwhelming majority of the most esteemed British actors made at least one appearance over the course of the movies (and one can probably assume they don't want anyone from the movies to be involved).

This HP show is gonna get memoryholed like Rings of Power did.

 

I'm honestly not opposed to a tv adaptation, you can adapt all the stuff that got cut from the films but it's way too soon and the movies are simply too iconic still. Are they gonna make it their own and ditch the iconic music and iconography? Doubt it....which will just make the comparisons worse. How do you recast such a perfectly casted ensemble? It's an uphill battle. But they can't make Fantastic Beasts 4 OR Cursed Child so, this is all they got.
