A stunning film in every aspect. Not only does it mercilessly blow every Bond film to pieces, but also ranks among my favorite films of the last decade. Yes, it's that incredible. Fantastic performances from everyone (Eva Green was the highlight of the film for me), superb pacing, captivating storyline, and a powerful climax. It doesn't get any better than this. A+

An OK reboot for 007. Eva Green was great (as always) and Craig brought a kind of earnestness to the role which was sorely missed. I'm not into agent films but James Bond was ubiquituous in my childhood and I read some of Fleming's novels in my late teens, and while Roger Moore was funny, Craig fits the material much better. Still, it's not my stuff and I don't think I'll watch 007 on the big screen ever again.

B

I'm disappointed. Last I watched this must've been half a decade ago, man I'm getting old, and at the time it was a straight A. Now, as all other Bond films, this just shows its length and drags toward the end. Daniel Craig is less roguish than I remember, Eva Green less sexily independent. Whilst the set pieces still stand out unlike anything in Goldeneye, something feels lacking. The story winds up nicely but pacing is really poor. Maybe it's because I was watching it on my laptop which drained some experience out of the endeavour but it's still a verily sobering, kind of crushing experience to have to downgrade this. I think it was in my top 20, maybe even top 10 of all-time. It's amazing what another viewing and time can do. A minute of silence for this, because, and I may be overly dramatic, this wasn't just a movie, it was part of a life that now seems so distant. Goodbye Mr. Bond.

One of the rare films in the series that I don't even recognize as James Bond. The Broccoli's went all clone saga with cinematic Bond and just gave us a Bourne rip off.One of the bottom 5 in the series. It looks even better after one views Quantum of Solace. Can't wait for Daniel Craig to go away and get back cinematic Bond of tradition.

At least we agree regarding QOS... Bond has the advantage it's also a marketing machine like no other. Here where I live, in Europe, there's hardly anything else that gets so much promotion by the mainstream media like the next Bond flick -- regularly.
