The bar scene was hideous ... the tension steadily rising and no getting out, easily one of the best scenes ever. Fassbender was great (as nearly always). Waltz and Laurent steal the show; Pitt's performance was the weakest element in the film. A.

It's not quite Pulp Fiction (what is?) but this is such a terrific film. The first and last half hours are two of my favorite movie memories.

A-Awesome film. There are so many great scenes, the opening scene, the bar scene, but my favourite is the climax with Laurent laughing on the burning screen as the Nazis die. Great stuff.

About as mixed as a movie can be. It has several scenes that are flat-out amazing... and a whole bunch that are just terrible. Condensed into a nutshell, I thought everything with the European actors was great and most everything with the Bastards was shit.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would but I've never felt inclined to watch it twice. I still wish Tarantino had done a straight faced WW2 movie. Pitt's character was lazy and annoying, but at least Waltz and Fassbender made up for it.

I dont like how they advertised this as a good ol' action romp with Brad Pitt and his merry men.Its a movie of conversations in foreign languages sitting around coffee tables. Very misleading of Weinstein

Yeah I kinda agree. Scenes with Bastards were really not put up well.

Waltz is becoming one of my favorite actors.

Saw this yesterday for the first time. Wow. Of the three Tarantino films I've seen (Pulp and Reservoir being the other two), this was easily the best. Thrilling with a very intriguing plotline aided by a sharp script, this is Tarantino's masterpiece. A+

Not that good... Django Unchained is way, way better.  The opening scene with Christoph Waltz and Michael Fassbender's scene in the basement were just amazing along with a few other scenes, but the majority of everything else was either mediocre or stupid.

Love all three: Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained. But Pulp Fiction still remains Tarantino's best work to me.

 

Christoph Waltz  I hope he'll be working with Quentin in many more movies.

Kill Bill volume 2 is my favorite but you cant go wrong with a Tarantino film
