Goffe
the matrix is very enjoyable, i'll give it that, but any time any of the characters opened their mouth to spout their pop philosophy, it was quite unbearable. fate, destiny, love saving the day, finding your inner self, blah blah blah. I feel that lisa will hate Interstellar with passion
RobinHood26
I think this is Nolans best and tightest big budget movie.
Lordmandeep
This is the film that made Nolan a demi God at the time. Great movie but I do not think Nolan can match this film ever again.

Lordmandeep
He just did. Well I can't say that as I have not seen it but I think that appears to be a minority opinion so far.
Jessie
Well I can't say that as I have not seen it but I think that appears to be a minority opinion so far. Interstellar > Inception The last half hour of Inception was such a drag, just didn't want to end.
Jessie
In this one Nolan had his vision much more under control than with Interstellar. And made a better movie. B+ Im sure Nolan had a lot of control on Interstellar.
ShouldIBeHere
Im sure Nolan had a lot of control on Interstellar. I do not mean studio involvement. Having himself under control.

Noctis
I think in TDKR he made the film bloated and I hear the same for IS. Interstellar is getting better reception than TDKR. So you're not going to watch it?

Crusader
lol indeed even people that didn't like Interstellar are noting that its worth seeing on the big screen for some of its sequences How would the young people of today sit through 2001 ? Mango
I turned it off after 10 min watching it at home. You should be ashamed if your attention span is that bad.
Lordmandeep
Oooookay. Next you're gonna tell us A Good Day to Die Hard was good? Actually I forwarded half the film at home, it was not even time pass good. You should be ashamed if your attention span is that bad. Ashamed to what end? I watched many old film with 3-4 hour running times. It was myself and my friends and we were just chilling trying to select which movie to watch... We heard many great things about 2001, so we put it on and it was just not the film we wanted to watch at that time. You work hard have some time to relax with friends and you want to be amused and entertained, not bored to death. That is why I turned it off and put some generic action movie on. With those films even if they are bad, they are still amusing. Edited November 14, 2014 by Lordmandeep
