The funny thing is that in the books (Book 2), the Night's Watch sends an officer with a severed wight hand that is still moving to King's Landing as proof to help ask for support, but Tyrion deliberately makes the guy wait because he doesn't like him, and so many many days later the hand has rotted away and the proof is gone.

In that case, I hope they never show Ghost again.  The dog must live forever.

 

As for the Ocean's Eleven, maybe replace one of them with Gendry, who saw Eastwatch by the Sea in the flames in Season 3 and has been rowing towards it ever since.

I approve of this list. So many favorites. It only needs Drogon. But he would eat the wight they need for proof so...

The moment has passed but it will come up again.

 

Ghost will live. I have a feeling that characters with surviving direwolves will survive and everyone losing a wolf will die eventually. So bodes well for Arya (doubtful we see Nymeria ever again so the wolf's character closure is that she's alive and well with her pack), not so well for Sansa and Bran. I could be totally off, though.

The disappointment of this season so far has been Tyrion. He simply has done nothing so far. 

I have to say that I liked Danny's approach in her meeting with John. She may still be a level behind Cersei but she has the personality of a real leader. On the contrary, John lacks in that department he doesnt have enough dynamism. I wouldn't be surprised If his journey ended with a heroic death.

I am also shipping those two big time.

It's also important to point out when you add legal streams (through Hulu and HBOGO) the viewership numbers are well over 25m (I think they were around 20m for season 6).

 

Then apparently there's reports of 90m torrenters, but I'm not positive.
