Best Film of Summer 2012

Highly recommend it. It's probably the most enjoyable film I've seen so far this year.

It really seems like a movie I'd enjoy. What have been your other favorite smaller movies of 2012?

Jeff, Who Lives at Home was surprisingly good. I loved Kill List. Footnote, Bullhead and Miss Bala are all great.Forgot to mention Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Marley.

It's The Dark Knight Rises for me. Just an awesome way to end the trilogy. Also up there are Ted, Rock of Ages, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers.

The Avengers and DKR are really close, but I've got to give it to Avengers since it gave me two of the greatest audience experiences ever. ASM, Expendables, and Madagascar were all great too.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen most of the movies this summer. But, of the ones I've seen, Avengers was easily the best one. I had so much fun watching that the two times I saw it.

It's funny, we've had the epic conclusion to nolans batman trilogy, the highly anticipated marvel team up, a reboot of spiderman, a Ridley Scott sci-fi movie yet I had the most fun watching a crude stoner teddy bear. I would never have though that at the beginning of the year.
