Weekend Estimates - (BO.com forums <3 RTH)

Recommended Posts

WOW, a movie for adults that's making money. LET'S TRASH IT.

I saw TGG again tonight with my gf and I honestly liked it better. I really can't figure out why some people are getting so riled up about it. I can understand not liking it, but I don't see what's so awful about it either. The soundtrack, visual prowess, and acting are more than enough to rule out horrible. My gf adored it. Theater reaction seemed good too walking out.

anyways hope IM3 stays to over 70 million :)

Be even cooler if it does something like 75-80 but that would require the best weekday to weekend turn around since Spider Man 1.

Seriously...75M - 80M off a 20M Friday?Someone tell me she doesn't get paid for this.

Two things

1. 20 million could be the Friday base number and it could go higher

2. even so 20 million assures 70 million min

How's IM3 getting to 75 with only 20M today?

It's possible. It already had a much better Friday bump than TA's second Friday. If It follows TA's second Sat and Sun holds it would look like this:

Fri: 20m

Sat: 30.5m (+53%)

Sun: 22m (-27%)

72.5m

So if it holds better than TA on Sat/Sun like it did Friday then 75m is possible. 72m should be the low end if it did 20m today.

No idea. Nikki just updated and has Gatsby at nearly 60 million. I honestly have no clue what anyone's thinking at the moment.
