Whoa! It has a bigger 2nd weekend than PK? Will be the 2nd member of 300 crore club then. In the US it only dropped 36%! That's unusual for a Bollywood movie, right?

We can attribute his death to cardiac arrest,” a doctor said.

Always take south indian movie gross reports with a grain of salt I.e. a big grain of salt.

North Karnataka accounts on average 25 % to one-third of entire karnataka gross. That would mean total karnataka gross of 65 crores in one week for Baahubali. That is BS of the highest quality. Just think about the numbers and see how real that sounds.

Mission impossible 5 distributors are expecting it to cross 100cr. If it does, it will be fourth Hollywood film this year to do so and fifth overall.

BOI and others reported Rs. 30.5 Crore Nett from Mysore distribution Area. Given that the tax is 30% of actual ticket value, the gross would have to be Rs. 43.5 Crores in 7 days.

 

Mysore distribution area includes all of Karanataka excluding North Karnataka which is part of Mumbai distribution area.

 

Generally, North Karnataka accounts for 25 to 33 percent of entire Karnataka gross.

 

That means, Bahubali would have had to gross 43.5/0.75 = 58 Crores to 43.5/0.67 = 65 crores in 7 days from all of Karnataka, which is unadulterated bullshit.

 

Anyway the actual nett from all of Karnataka for the first 7 days was Rs. 23 Crores not 58 to 65 crores according to these bogus reports.

 

BTW, that 23 crore number is phenomenal for 7 days in Karnataka.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is another salman movie with less action and unique story for a salman starrer. 

 Its wayyy better than salmans crap movies over a decade and the best part of the movie was munni(kid) aka Harshaali she wass reallly cute played her part well!

Songs are jus abt okay. 

Salmans performance is a total makeover for him and he was decent.

Movie has few logical loopholes but its a decent one time watch if not again for the cute kid.
