I loved it but its Scorsese so that's obvious

I'm gonna give it a 9/10

It was amazing ... but not quite as amazing as his finest work ( Bull, Taxi and Fellas ) just a little notch below ... plus the structure of the whole thing is identical to Goodfellas so I really can't say that its better than that

However, its nothing short of amazing

oh yeah and to state the obvious Leo owned definitely the performance of the year he went in hard ... won't win though even though this was very much on the same level of acting DeNiro displayed in Raging Bull

Ragging Bull?  That's the best Freudian Slip ever.

Wow this was a surprise. I never thought I could watch a 3 hour movie about the stock market and be entertained for every minute. Scorsese is one of the best directors working today imo and Leo gave another Oscar worthy performance which comes as no surprise. Favourite scene. "Surprisingly I made it home without a scratch on me or the car..." Lol.From what I've seen, this and Rush are my favourite movies of the year, not saying they were the best, but they were the most satisfying for me.

I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long, long time.  There are way too many great scenes to pick just one, but yes the "cerebral palsy" phase was hilarious.

The cocaine being Jordan's spinach was great too.  I could go on and on.

I noticed something even funnier and more awesome about this. There's a scene with insane musical irony where the song "Ca Plane Pour Moi", which translates to "All is well for me", plays when Belfort is caught by the FBI. I know it's a popular song, but the translation didn't dawn on me until now.

I watched this for the third time today. Still just as great as the last two times, maybe even better.

If he continues to turn in performance like this, I really hope that Jonah Hill will bag an Oscar one day.

Leo and Scorsese, no matter what goes down at this year Academy Awards, they're winners to me.

And LOL, dat cerebral palsy scene? I don't think I will ever find it not absolutely hilarious.

The music choices in this were rather uninspired. In fact, I can't remember a single memorable musical moment in a Scorsese movie since the House of the Rising Sun scene in Casino.

I don't think they were uninspired. Maybe not on the same level as Goodfellas but I liked the mixture of different kinds of music from Insane in the Membrane to Ca Plane Pour Moi. Also really enjoyed the use of Mrs. Robinson near the end.
