I don't believe I've ever seen a great trilogy where each subsequent movie is better. Even in the best ones, they don't each improve over the last. Maybe Toy Story, though I might still give the slight edge to 1 over 2.

Rise and Dawn had been nominated in oscar for best visual effect but both lost to different films, If war really get nominated again, I wish they would win for this outing! 

If Jungle book, about talking animals could win, why not war for the planet of the apes!??!

doubt it, if it makes money they continue, it could end near the events of beginning of the original film, but that would likely start a new chapter and not a reboot
