He was really good in Mud.  Much better than in WOWS, imo.

 

Dallas Buyers Club is just PC Oscar bait.  But it got him respect from critics, which will get him good roles.

How is it PC Oscar bait?  It's a true story that indicts the FDA for trying to keep natural drugs off the market so that drug companies can make billions.  Oscar bait my ass.  It's a story worth telling.
