The category that pleased me the most was Supporting Actor. So at least that.

WOW No Pixar? Why is everyone going for Despicable Me 2? It wasn't even as good as the first when Monsters University was just as good as Monsters Inc. I'm very surprise. We will have no Pixar on the ballot for 2 years in a row due to no film in 2014.

Having just seen 12 Years I'd have no problems with Ejiofor taking it (seriously, he was really good) but I'd bet on DiCaprio right now. Right time, right performance.

Seeing that the Academy tends to snub the ones that deserve it the most, expect Bale to take it.

Ejiofor has been getting most of the ones, accept ofcourse the globes. He probably deserves it, and since he is not an A-lister, probably his last opportunity.

I feel stupid for not putting Philomena in Best Picture in my predictions. Of course Harvey was gonna get one in.

 

From a quick glance at the nominees, adapted screenplay was the only category where I got 5/5.

Anyway, I'm rooting for Amy Adams, and then Sandra Bullock.
