Steep drop for LEGO from last week, I was really hoping this would cross $300m but the holds just haven't been there and competition is only increasing.

 

it had good holds before this week but still this is a good box office run for LEGO, never expected it go beyond 200M to be honest

Michael Bay is living the dream, doing what he likes for a living & getting filthy fucking rich with it.

 

He is a doer. You are just behind your computer thinking you hold some kind of truth and feeling good about yourself while trashing him like he cared. Bashing Bay is so useless, predictable and mundane.

 

You are just one of the hundreds of Bay haters who vent their frustrations about him trying to feel superior with your tastes with bashing Michael Bay which is an even a worse cliché on a movie forum than any Michael bay movie line.

 

Also Michael Bay fan club includes, but I' ve always said this countless of times :

 

Steven Spielberg

Christopher Nolan

James Cameron

 

Those three may understand things you don't. Can you at least accept the possiblity you know very little about filmmaking and what it entails ?

 

When people trash Bay, they should go to the humility store before doing do.

Sayings like, "You don't make movies so you have no room to judge" irritate me so bad.  This is a forum where you share opinions about movies, which may mean you absolutely hate some directors.  I am pretty sure a lot of people here are actually doers, they just might not make massive visual orgies about talking robots.

Bad drop for The Lego Movie.  It is still making a ton of money but I think I was spoiled by Frozen's amazing run.  Speaking of which...

Don't worry, Tony. FROZEN will add at most $10M at the end of its run (for a $403M final tally).

MUPPETS & RIO 2 will take out most of its audience in the coming weeks.
