Ezen Baklattan
Current Predictions: The Book of Life Big Hero 6 How To Train Your Dragon 2 The LEGO Movie The Tale of Princess Kaguya I'd argue that TBoL still has potential if The Boxtrolls' reviews don't pick up.
Spidey Freak
Yup, Boxtroll's loss will be Book's win. Though will Kaguya manage to qualify this year? If not, then Boxtrolls may still eke out a nom over Song of the Sea.
Kvikk Lunsj
The Lego movieHow to train your dragon 2Big hero 6Take of princess kaguya All seem certain. The last spot is up in the air. With the book of life having the best chance at getting in.
TServo2049
I have been waiting four years for Song of the Sea. If it's as good as The Secret of Kells, I'd be rooting for it to at least get a nomination.

TServo2049
I don't think Kaguya is certain, if only because the Academy has never nominated a Ghibli film that wasn't directed by Miyazaki. The only "hit and miss" to it is Ponyo not getting a nomination, and I feel that was down to how competitive and high-quality the 2009 slate was. (If Ponyo had gotten a U.S. release in 2008 or 2010 instead of 2009, I think it would have gotten nominated.) AniNate
Looks like two indies could get in. Boxtrolls and Book of Life don't appear to be contenders.
Jake Gittes
Tale of Princess Kaguya sure looks like it's in.
Spidey Freak
Looks like two indies could get in. Boxtrolls and Book of Life don't appear to be contenders. What happened? Book is getting dumped on by critics as well?
AniNate
Not quite, but reviews are weak enough that AMPAS could easily look elsewhere for a fourth and fifth nominee.
CloneWars
So, LEGO is going to win unless BH6 surprises and pulls a Frozen.
AniNate
To think, Boxtrolls and BoL probably would've been shoo-ins last year.
lab276
To think, Boxtrolls and BoL probably would've been shoo-ins last year. Well, no. MU would've been ahead of them and it didn't get in.
AniNate
I don't think it would be. Both would probably get extra points for being original.
eXtacy
The Tale of Princess Kaguya easily the top animated score on metacritic with 90 and 100% on RT, studio Ghibli does it again. Probably wont win though Edited October 20, 2014 by eXtacy

Probably wont win though The Tale of Princess Kaguya will easily get a nomination. I can see the Academy rewarding Studio Ghibli with the win since it will be their last movie for a long time, and there is also no Frozen juggernaut to go up against this year.
