just having fun, being slightly dissapointed can also be fun in some ways

Not going to add anything about the reactions coming through atm, still early doors. But it feels both surreal and awesome to see them actually coming through.

These reactions are as expected. At least as I expected. Seems like an 80’s RT, 72-77 Metacritic type of film. In the end though, that means nothing. Audience WOM is the end all, be all.

One thing I'm noticing is even those that complain about the story/characters being thin...all seem to agree that the third act is god tier filmmaking and connects it all emotionally quite well,

Reactions seem plenty strong to me, but I had little doubt on it being a good film.

I don't know I was expecting people to be blown away more. Having too many subplots can also hurt its appeal to audiences. Yeah pretty much all the reactions are still good, but I'm not sure it's going to have people in awe like the first did.

OW I'm thinking $150M and finish $600M. OS I'm thinking $1.5B-$2.5B

 

So, I think at least $2B WW with the possibility of becoming the highest grossing film of all-time WW.
