I think we've found @CJohn's favorite movie of 2017...

Looks absolutely insane. My type of crazy fantasy shit that we should be glad it exists. Bless these studios for giving 150M budgets to stuff like this.

I am so glad I'm not the only one! This just became my most anticipated 2017 title!

I'm not writing the movie off just yet, who knows, might still be a decent action adventure, but it's not what i would wanna ideally see when i think King Arthur.

This is Guy Ritchie's Arthur. Don't forget Holmes.

PS: We have a better KA? We don't. So anyway.

This looks like it will go the way of Tarzan:

"Who asked for a King Arthur movie? "

"It looks too dark! "

"The Disney animated version is better."

"This ruins my childhood. "

"It will open under 17 million and if lucky will get to 50 million DOM."

Charlie Hunnam proceeds to take off his shirt. Abs are shown. Women bring their kids to watch. People think this is Disney. And...

30-40 million opening and ~130 million DOM.

I can see this exact scenario happening, because the other wide release that weekend is Power Rangers from Lionsgate.  No matter how much Lionsgate wants to have a huge audience for their superhero movie, it sounds like it is going to be a tougher sell than the superhero films from the other studios.  A Tarzan-like box office performance for King Arthur, and a Warcraft-like box office for Power Rangers is something I could see unfold that weekend.

And I think I know which of the two films you are anticipating more, considering your prediction for the Power Rangers opening weekend was $17 million.

Why Warner has a such a hard on for grey ?

Nolan ruined that studio.

Gods of Egypt at least is shiny and bright.

and why do you have a hard on for colours? better yet, why does it matter, like at all?

Being 'bright' and 'shiny' didn't seem to help that abomination known as God of Egypt.

Sorcerer Jude Law

Bullets + War Elephants + All sorts of random shit

Archer Littlefinger

Medieval Detective Interrogator Roose Bolton

I guess some form of Gaelic "country" music

I may actually have to see this big mess in theaters
