Studios are also preparing for a potential SAG strike in the event a deal isn't made by the end of the month and are pushing the cast promo for their July movies up to this month. Better safe than sorry.

The entire movie is different. The Schumer version was literally developed at a different studio by a different creative team and has nothing in common with this one. That would have been a "every person is unique and worthy of affection" type of story.
