People are comparing the Alonso thing to the Scarjo situation and I don't think that's an accurate comparison. The latter was Chapek not knowing how to make talent happy. This feels like a confluence of bigger professional issues.

This is something I have to remind myself of during these types of situations. I genuinely always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time I don't know what everyone's true colors are. All I'll say that if it's true that he did this shit then the dude is a moron and deserves what's coming to him. If he didn't do this then I hope he get exonerated and his reputation remains mostly intact.
