Not debating that. It's unfortunate, because Kong: Skull Island looks fun as hell.

It looks good but I honestly can't afford to watch movies every weekend. I want to watch Logan, B&B and Guardians. The rest will wait.  Brie and Tom don't have the drawing power to make me spend more.

It's getting plenty of praise from the people who have seen it. Once word gets out, it'll be fine. Movie looks too good(or fun) to not do decent... That and the fact there's early good word equals success I think.

Early Twitter reactions have been misleading before. Wait for the professional critics to weigh in before declaring this has good critical reception/WOM.

Luckily for me the local theater in my town charges $6 when you watch before 12pm. Looking forward to Logan,  Skull Island,  Power Rangers and Ghost in a Shell.
