I actually think this will open higher than people expected, but the legs won't be that great comparing to the WOM, because End Game.

 

However I still believe the legs will still be better than people expected. just like Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

Maybe the film itself will have some WW-related wink-wink moments.

I certainly hope so.

Speaking of which...In the comics, the letters in SHAZAM stood for the powers that the superhero channeled from a host of legendary heroes and deities: S for Solomon (wisdom), H for Hercules (strength), A for Atlas (stamina), Z for Zeus (ability to  control lightning and overall enhancement of his other powers), A for Achilles (courage and invulnerability) and M for Mercury (speed and flight). I wonder if this will be so in the film itself mainly because this is supposedly set in the DCEU (or not?), which already has a daughter of Zeus running around out there somewhere.

I have no clue about who drew that, but it gives Jose Luis Garcia Lopez vibe, which is AWESOME. Super cool nod to one of the greatest comic book artists of all time, and the creator of the iconic DC style guides...

The diversity comes from his foster siblings. Shazam has 2 white foster siblings, one girl and one boy, one chinese sibling, one mexican sibling and the youngest foster sibling is a little black girl. None of the foster siblings have been shown much in the trailers except for Freddy. So yes lots of different etnicities are in Shazam.
