It looks ok i guess. I didn't expect much to begin with. But i still see it doing some solid numbers next summer.

Normally, I would agree with your sentiment, but seeing how this is a movie based on Baywatch, I doubt that anybody in the cast (male or female) will be doing much beyond showing cleavage, showing pecs, looking hot, etc.

A non-lifeguard character needs to be in a movie about lifeguards more than the key lifeguard characters? Explain the logic.

It's finally getting off the ground. According to Wikipedia, filming began on November 22.
