FF8: $1.2B OS?

How do you top dropping cars from C130?

1.2B OS is locked for FF8. FF6 made 788M WW while FF7 will gross over 1.4B WW. If the increase was the same as 7 over 6, then the 8 will wind up around 2B WW,

That's not necessarily how it works though. Imo FF8 will be lucky to make as much as FF7.

FF7 had Paul Walker's death, it's much easier to fall from 1.5B WW than rise from that.

So SPECTRE is locked to make 1.6 billion WW because Skyfall increased $500m? you know that it does not work in that way. Special circumstances around F7. Said this, with China explosion I find difficult F8 can not repeat the billion OS.

 

Congrats to F7 and their fans for the billion OS. Huge accomplishment.
