Although not having it with Assassin's Creed domestically is a bit of a surprise, but they'll have it internationally no doubt. Most countries get the film on New Year's if not after. The point is studios tend to like to attach trailers to similar movies they're releasing (Paramount's Baywatch trailer being attached to Office Christmas Party or Fox's Snatched being attached to Why Him?) or they attach their trailers for big blockbusters to other big blockbusters (Universal's Fate of the Furious and Paramount's Transformers: The Last Knight being attached to Rogue One). Butt Creed was a Fox film featuring Fassbender as is Alien Covenant. And the point is releasing it with Butt Creed gets it online now and they can attach it to later more successful films.
