Because if not, that would be awful

John Marston
oh I assumed it was a big worldwide rollout, like Skyfall did the three years ago same weekend

PanaMovie
SPECTRE enjoyed an explosive debut across its first six overseas market, including a blockbuster $63.8M seven-day tally in the UK, the highest week-long performance of all time in the market. The 24th entry in the James Bond franchise finished its first week of release with $80.4 million worldwide. Other milestones include a record-setting $3.7 million debut in the Netherlands and $12.7 million haul from four Nordic markets: $2.63M in Finland, $2.88M in Norway, $4.21M in Denmark, and $2.97M in Sweden. IMAX screenings contributed $5 million from 47 screens, resulting in a record-setting $105k per-screen average for an opening weekend in the premium large format. James Bond will return next weekend in an overseas expansion that will include 537 more IMAX screens (including North America) and its Chinese release looming on November 13. Gokai Red
Hopefully this bodes well for its chances of passing 1B. I had it at around 250/700 before release. Is that looking likely?

peludo
If it is able to reach the billion mark it would be even more impressive than Skyfall's run. Amazing opening
Purple Minion
Really looking forward to its performance in Mexico! Deadline: "Mexico also features in one of Spectre‘s most talked-about set pieces and is hosting the première for the Americas on Monday. An increasingly muscular market, that will be one to watch. solaris
Such a shame that the exchange rates are against this in $, but I'm feeling more and more confident that this will just about get to that $1b mark when all is said and done. UK will likely contribute around $125m alone (down $40m from SF but still absolutely gigantic)
Asyulus
Great performance at bypassing Skyfall OW in most 6 territories despite Exchange rates
peludo
I thought it could not reach the billion but it seems that ER is not a so decissive factor this year. The chances for billion are great. Anyway, I prefer to see what happens in other huge Skyfall markets like Germany ($85m), France ($60m), Australia ($50m), Japan ($32m) or Russia ($25m). Some of them are still huge figures to match.

Spectre is gonna be very close to Skyfall´s final international gross.
