He did direct most episodes of HoC though and they were pretty great. Oddly the HoC producing team (de Luca and Brunetti) are both behind this franchise too which is hilarious. So when shit hit the fan with ELJ's total control (heh) they got their HoC journeyman on board.

Hollywood Reporter says tracking is less than half the first film's opening, 35-40 OW.  Sounds about right.

first film had its opening weekend inflated by Valentine's Day on Saturday and a holiday on Monday. This year Valentine's Day is on Tuesday and President's Day weekend is the following weekend

 

 

if this can get over 50m opening weekend it would be a good result.
