Who cares, baum? I never base my opinion of a film on critics, but guess what? You actually agree with critics more often than not. But that's beside the point.

Transformers for example is a film that many people view as brainless fun. Good for them. I find them awful and so goddamn boring. F5 and F6 are amazing and everything a Transformers film should be but isn't.

The first Transformers holds up fairly well. By no means a masterpiece and filled with flaws but enjoyable all the same.

 

RotF is definitely bad. Has it's moments (the forest fight is still one of the most impressive sequences in the franchise), but is otherwise just incoherent and annoying.

 

DotM is enjoyable, albeit more towards the second half I suppose.

 

Haven't seen AoE in it's entirety, but from the parts I've seen it feels kinda tedious and boring. Even the score is on autopilot.

Books are just a reflection of human nature, doesn t mean books say those acts are ok either.

And if you do the maths, there s way more books/ movies with murders/ torture than rape.

Hey Tarantino even managed to shoot a " fun" torture scene in Reservoir Dogs ...

There's a HUGE difference between rape and torture.

People that don't know any better, might read the book or see the movie and think that's okay behavior since there are TONS of woman that love the book.

TF1 is the only one I enjoy. TF3 is tolerable most of the time. RoTF is so outrageously bad, and AoE is the worst because it's so goddamn boring.

Is that Claire and others think they are so hot and never make a mistake, why don't they bet and will see who is right. Its not that I am looking for it, but if you say someone is a bad predictor than you must have confidence in your self. So why not take a challenge, could it be they know they can't predict and will lose. So funny the posters around here are so hot til they are put in a situation to face reality.
