The story outline sounds a lot like Contact. This is probably Adams' Oscar-bait role for 2015.

He will shoot Captain America: Civil War this spring, then segue to Story of Your Life in mid-June, working with Villeneuve, considered one of the hottest directors in town and who just booked the sequel to Blade Runner.

Read the script last year... It's fine - quite slow and they won't need much more than 50M to make it.

Thank you, I have ~a just  conversation about it at AoU. It's only I do not understand why to mention an actor on an official poster counts as not official announced, but an article from not the studio... is, especially as the article does not quote him for that detail.

I seem to miss something, maybe the next posts at AoU will help me to understand

 I have a feeling that this could be the next District 9, but also could be very bad and be just another rubbish sci-fi movie.

This will most likely be the best sci-fi alien invasion film of this year with the pedigree behind it. Hopefully it will be a solid box-office hit.

I'm always interested in what Villeneuve makes. I've read that this isn't as dark as his latest films so i'd like to see him changing his style a bit.
