I'm sure the film will be crap and I won't like it because I'm 39 years old but I remember how freaked out people were about Super Mario Bros reviews and acting like that film was doomed. If FNAF gets bad word of mouth it is doomed but the people who like this IP don't give a darn about reviews.

This. A kids videogame horror movie, you literally cannot get a movie more critic-proof. I guess people are upset a FNAF movie is gonna out open all their favorite franchises this year. Shows audiences are moving on to new franchises.

Man these reviews are substantially worse than Marios.

What audiences are you even on about? These are FNAF fans, they were always going to show up for a FNAF film, it's not former fans of other franchises looking for something new.

There's been a real push by some users here that FNAF and Barbie are some heir apparents to older franchises like Marvel or Transformers etc, even though I think it's kind of a reach to assume the reason FNAF, an already huge video game franchise for almost ten years, is doing well in tracking because of disaffected Marvel or Indiana Jones fans or something

I read this week that it was always for Peacock, even before it was made. That was part of the deal/package.

So it wasn’t anything to do with quality. As the film hadn’t even been made yet.

Definitely not true. Blumhouse signed into the project in 2017, three years before Peacock launched.

Who could have guessed the Eras movie would have a more mature and better behaved audience?

Swift fans > FNAF fans

Reminds me of when news outlets were doom reporting about Joker bringing in violent people in the cinema, only for a machete fight to occur at a Frozen 2 screening a month later.

You are absolutely terrified that the silly Chuck e cheese horror movie could out open The Marvels. I can already see that you are dripping with jealousy over Barbie's success because you know the Marvels has no chance of reaching those kinds numbers. I like Marvel movies, I get cheering on a movie to succeed at the box office but what bothers me is when some hardcore fans only want Marvel movies to succeed and talk down any other type of film. I hate to get confrontational but your attitude bothers me.
