Universal's decision to hold back the reviews until Wednesday is looking like a genius move now.

It definitely added to the mystery surrounding just what's in store in the park. Once news broke Wednesday that the film was getting a good reaction - that was all people needed. A brilliant marketing campaign that had audiences dying to see what they'd come up with.

How refreshing to see an event movie with so many surprises too. The third act rules so hard because it's all excited discovery. People don't want everything ruined. Take note Disney. We don't need anymore Star Wars footage!!

This is really a good year for boxoffice nerds. Big boxoffice surprises are always the most welcomed, and this year we got a lot of them. Sniper, FF7 and now JW are all huge surprising breakouts, and of cause on the other hand we have a big surprising letdown aka AOU. Now, following the former trend SW7 will probably out-gross Avatar, but I guess the AOU trend is more likely?

That scene alone with Michael Keaton at the beginning of BATMAN RETURNS was better than all 3 Of the Nolan BATMAN movies combined..
