This year might be even worse from a box office standpoint: Terminator 5 and Magic Mike 2.

Ted 2, Inside Out and JW will both combine for $120-130 million.

Terminator and XXL should do $70-80m between the two (5 day definitely, 3 day possibly)

Tomorrowland is a huge bomb regardless of whether it gets a few extra million or not. Should have done it with Avengers

The difference is this year we will have a bunch of strong holdovers that will give a pretty good variety of films to choose from.

Terminator 5 - 38m (48m 5 day)

Magic Mike 2 - 35m (43m 5 day

Ted 2 - 31m

Jurassic world - 30m

Inside out - 23.5m

Last year only Tammy and transformers made over 20m...

If IO does $90 million+ this weekend, anything less than $30 million over July 4th would surprise me

It had a bigger midnight number then MU, and that was a prequel. It's not hard to assume that IO could possibly blow-up big this weekend.

Again, Pixar has a loyal following and it's their first film in 2 years. That's why it had big previews. Hope for $70 million, not $100 million .
