Brace yourselves.Avengers has apparently sold over 6 million units on Blu-ray alone. :oThis number could very well be as high as 7 million when final numbers come.It also sold around 2.5 million DVDs.

Awesome news. It should easily surpass 10M, maybe 12M?

Yes or no... 2.5m units is a pretty average number for a blockbuster on DVD, yeah? The BD number is simply astronomical.

at Target the 3D Blu ray, which has the regular Blu ray and DVD, was only 3 dollars more than week than the regular DVD. Anyone who buys DVDs these days are honestly getting ripped off Edited by John Marston

I'm always trying to understand the package deals that include BD/DVD/Dig Copy.... Does that get tallied up as a BD and as DVD sale, or just a BD sale?
