Watch Pixels, it may be fun for a group.

I'm actually thinking of going to that and Minions at the drive-in this weekend :)

I was more referring to I've been recommending to a couple of friends to see Inside Out since June 19, and they both said they'd see it as their next movie... but they went to see Ant-Man instead <_<

I'm lost right now

If you do not speak about the tv-series.... I am with you. Even mods seem to be very OT in this thread

Interesting observations about Minions:

- its 2nd weekend was higher than DM2 by 6 million

- If you discount the holiday days DM2 opened it (3rd and 4th of July), Minions has made in its first 10 days much more than DM2 did on its first 10 days.

Still, I agree - 340-350 range sounds right

Someone asked about adjusted finals for Avengers 1... For him/her the following thoughts:

I think the jump for Avengers 2 shows an increased interest into earlier movies at the Ant-Man release date. Maybe even marathons including Avengers 2 too. I think that is typical for a lot of franchises, movie series or similar.

Beside Cartel land (3rd week of release) no other movie has a positive mark / increase on that list (list not complete, 95 titles are too many IMHO, so the cut at $100000 BO)

In addition:

they do also re-release movies for anniversaries, some limited releases for newly restored / digitalised / dir.cut / .... versions, especially also in preperation to upcomming 3D-Blu-Ray releases of some older movies too and so on

Some of those get even an extra entry at BOM, some show only the 're-releae' mark

Wait, genuine question to CJohn/Bishop-- you paid to see a single movie 10 times? Did you have a free pass or sneak in or something? Why on earth would you give one movie $100 of your money?

I paid $90+ for JW. LOL. But that was because I watched it myself at first(imax), then watched it with my parents(imax) then my older bro and his wife made me pay for theirs(reg 3d).
