Saw this last night at one of the 3 screenings that were shown across country.

 

In some alternative universe, we all could've been watching the Genndy Tartakovsky Popeye movie that was supposed to come out instead of this, but God has forsaken us and left us with a fucking Emoji Movie instead.

I really believed in the potential of this becoming a moderate hit ( and I still haven't completely lost my faith) but dude those reviews are awful...

I have been constantly arguing how movie reviews don't play a big role in kids movies but man we are talking about some all time low.

I didn't expect it to be Inside Out, but I thought something in the 20s would be the case.

Anyway. I guess we shall see.

I just can't imagine this being as BAD as battlefield earth etc and WORSE than Norm of the North.

 

Like, yea, even though I kinda defended the concept, the trailers were sorta dopey but I just can't see how the movie can be this bad.

There is a whole market out there of people who like hilariously bad movies. Maybe this is for them

For many movies we rue when the first rotten review drops and hope thatsnother one doesnt come soon (or at all). 

 

With this movie however many will be disappointed when the first positive review drops 😂
