Will probably do Monument Men numbers in the end, this will act as the adult alternative option through most of summer. This is going to be below 1k theaters by the end of June. Jake Gittes
Yeah it'll probably be closer to The Ides of March. But it could turn out to be a minor hit, it's the first decently-reviewed adult drama (that's opening wide right away) since the Oscars. I will call this one of the break outs of the summer if it does monuments men numbers.

It was a non-factor. Those movies are big for other reasons, but he wasn't a draw.
filmlover
This only really has competition from The Nice Guys in the weeks ahead and this can easily co-exist with that. This will hold well in the weeks ahead.
La Binoche
Reviews are a little better than I expected. Good for Foster.

The movies wouldn't work without his performance nor do as well. One might as well say Jennifer Lawrence had nothing to do with the success of the HG or Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

The Futurist
The 90's were ... in the 90's. Those 3 big stars probably didn't get the memo.

Probably just Roberts and Clooney doing a favour for Foster. Which is nice to see.

Cochofles
LOL @ Evans' "performance" being a draw in the Captain America films. The dude is a bland blank...a perfectly fitting 'actor' for a blandly heroic character. Everyone knows that what sells these movies are two words: "Marvel Universe." Let's not try to pretend that this made 179 OW because people are captivated by Evans talent. Edited May 12, 2016 by Cochofles

He is the true draw of this Universe.

No, the movie feels 90's to me, not necessaraly because of its actors, just the style of the movie.
