Yeah, I see it going this way since they have a large cast, they don't really need him. As long as Gal Gadot doesnt have some scandal in the next few weeks, they're gonna be fine.

I will see because there are other nice person involved like the rest of the cast, the directors, the crew...but we know well that some people will not going to see the movie and there will be bad press in the next month

The bigger implication is if Affleck will stay on as Batman. The JL cast is huge so he's just one piece of the puzzle. At least he's not directing, writing and starring in Batman.

I concur with AndyLL on this one, Wonder89 ..I think you are getting ahead of yourself.
There has been much worse allegations for other actors in the past ....this is very minor ...plus it was long ago, and we don't know the full story on it either. I don't think people who are interested in this movie will look at it one way or another.

I dont see this having impact on reviews or BO. There weree worse allegations about Bryan Singer and DOFP did not have any issue.

 

But this should be IT for batfleck. Studio definitely needs to recast. Batman is way bigger than actor playing it.

DOFP wasn't even affected by Singer being under concurrent rape allegations of a minor.

 

Ben's brother was accused of worse (and financially settle complaints about it) and won an Oscar.

But AFFLECK is one of the most famous actors in the world. Ordinary people don't really know producers or directors but they do know actors. So this is gonna get huge backlash

I'm pretty sure WB is going to want the press to focus on Gal, Momoa, and Ezra in all the upcoming interviews. Wonder if they FINALLY bring out Cavill for the interviews now?

I can't believe how much personal problems have hit JL with Snyder leaving, Whedon cheating scandal, and now this Affleck stuff.

Despite me liking Batfleck(and looking forward to JL), I certainly hope there is a HUGE backlash. This kind of behavior must not be tolerated. Hopefully not just weinstein but any person involved in such behavior must be held responsible for their actions.

Gal isn't going to talk shit about Affleck, get real. Even if she wanted to, WB wouldn't let her.

I imagine she is going to say something about what happen to those women were wrong and stuff, while Affleck sits uncomfortably besides her making more sad faces.
