FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM overseas update:

41.1 M China (has now surpassed all theatrical runs of all POTTER movies except DH II after only three days in release)

15.5 M Japan

37.6 M UK (11.0 M weekend)

24.6 M South Korea (7.4 M weekend)

18.4 M Germany (6.1 M weekend)

16.7 M France (5.2 M weekend)

16.7 M Russia (4.4 M weekend)

13.5 M Australia (3.9 M weekend)

11.8 M Italy (3.5 M weekend)

11.3 M Brazil (3.0 M weekend)

11.3 M Mexico (2.7 M weekend)

08.3 M Spain (2.5 M weekend)

This new franchise is doing fine. May not reach the typical $600M OS of a Potter movie but Warner should be happy

In China, FB lost lots of screen showings on Friday because of new films’ opening(Your Name, Miss Peregrine and local films).I still have faith the final number will be above $80m.

Probably a harder drop this week, I'm seeing around 540 total, plus 220-230 domestic = ~770

About 30% of this past week was China, and China's going to wrap up fast now. That will hurt next week's drop. Anything over Suicide Squad WW is pretty great though.

Next weekend FB won´t have big competition so a good hold may happen, the other weekend it will drop really hard. I think $550 OS is where this movie is headed
