Hoping Moana can develop some insane legs and end its run at $110 million (with a 17.5x multiplier which is identical to Zootopia's). This would push its global total to $700 million. I know, I know, it's unlikely, but possible. Hopefully, the movie explodes.

That $6.3 million weekend in Japan is great, better than Zootopia's. Unless Sing becomes a formidable threat it should have no problem passing $50-60 million in Japan.

Agreed. Welcome to the forums btw!

Legs like Zootopia don't happen all of the time. If it makes Corpses' multiplier list, that wll be an accomplishment by itself.

I just had a look at the NZ BOM chart and Moana is about 25k from making more than Finding Dory. It might have already passed it actually; looks like BOM hasn't been updated since the 5th. Anyway, it should be able to cross that and the sing-along re-release was last week. It's still over 100k away from crossing Rogue One but if that gives it enough of a boost it might be possible. That would put it in the second spot for NZ's box office of 2016.

Japan tuesday: Moana does similar to monday (0,8M$ - near 8M$ 5days), only a bit better than La La Land, which is in week 4 and + 6% from LW. It seems that the live-action musical could hurt Moana among young adult female audience (that three years ago launched Frozen to infinite and beyond), but tomorrow (wednesday/ladies day) we will know this better.
