Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D | August 25, 2017 at AMC Theaters, everywhere else one week later

Watched it over the weekend.  This is the movie that declared the 80's over and defined the 90's. Still looks somewhat good even today with some CGI scenes looking outdated.

3D is fine when it is shot for 3D.  Conversion 3D is just gimmicky.

3D was no where near Avatar tier but it was still good enough not to ruin immersion. For me it was extremely noticeable at first but 10-15mins in I was just watching T2 on the big screen with more depth.

Finally got to see the greatest action film of all time and the second greatest epic in cinema.

To me it was the same level of 3D as TPM re-release on 3D.  It was fine, but it was not as good as a movie that was shot specifically for 3D like Avatar or others like that.

Terminator 1 was better IMO.

I still haven't figured out why they could transport a complex cyborg through the time hole yet couldn't send a futuristic weapon through with it.

First stop, go to a gun shop ---- lol

Btw, at my favorite theater, they had frigging one session for T2, that's it. I have difficulty finding any playtime near me. Will have to fall back on cinemas i have never been to.

Man, i wish a big studio would have handled the re-release...

Won't make too much of a difference. T2 has been released on DVD & Bluray countless times, and the franchise just got Batman&Robin'ed.

It could've made a difference as a "3D" release, had it been released in 2010 or 2011 when 3D was still pretty hot. Now 3D is a almost a non-factor.
