The trailers didn't have me that hyped but the tone of the actual thing is almost pure horror. It's very Alien. Brilliant performances, most of all from Rebecca Ferguson who is surely going to be huge very soon. Utterly terrifying in places, superb ending which had me grinning like a moron. Reading the reviews reminded me that The Martian actually had other actors apart from Matt Damon. That is one movie where one actor overshadows literally everyone else, not that the other actors had much to do anyway.
