Yeah I got all the wolverine jokes in the movie, which I found really funny, but didn't realise that was from another X Men movie. I know Deadpool is part of X-Men so I just thought it was jokes about X-Men.

no, not talking about Wolverine jokes.  They literally made Deadpool jokes about Deadpool from that movie.  ok now i have ot put it in spoilers

Spoiler

the action figure he picks up with the blades coming out of the action figure's arms and saying it was limited edition and all was the look of the Deadpool character from X men origins.  They asls talked about stitching his mouth up in this movie which they actually did in the X-Men origins film.

so that is what I meant ;)

Ah okay. Thanks. I'm not a fan of superhero films so haven't seen the X-Men movies or spinoffs.

Yes it is. It may have a shot at 200m if it wins BP.

Between The Revenant and Deadpool's immense success, this should tell Hollywood studios that teenage boys aren't the ones who dictate the box office after all (well, Deadpool is probably something pitched towards them but most can't due to the R rating locking a majority of that demographic out).

This is embarrassing. How can they not push it to 200m?

Well...if they close it too early....then it won't happen....

However....there are only a few ways if they want to push it to $200M:

1. Keep it in theaters a bit longer....until around early to mid March.

2. Expand the theater count for Spectre.

Or.....

3. Re-release that thing in theaters again.

But.....It could be a while if they want to push it there.

FOX had in their hands their biggest franchise ever and it only got greenlighted because a bunch of fanboys cried during years for it to happen.

Seriously, if someone has live reactions of FOX executives seeing the numbers getting bigger and bigger I pay big money for them.

I don't think Fox knew it would be one of their biggest hits ever. lol

This just proves that no matter how 'unknown' the character or how limited the audience is, if you have a good movie + a great marketing team, awesome things could happen. GOTG also showed this and to an extent ANT-MAN. Let us hope SUICIDE SQUAD and DOCTOR STRANGE follow.

Oh, and GAMBIT. ha ha

Does Rth realize that he can seriously cause harm to Forum users by teasing so much the numbers? I mean, I don't think even nerd boners should last longer than 4 hours.

Someone needs to report this

Spectre came out on Blu-Ray this week, it won't reach 200M.
