Great hold for Panda. 25% Friday to Friday drop. That would be great on a normal weekend itself. With VD Sunday and Monday this one will easily go past 25m over the 4-day weekend. Heading for ~135m dom.

 

Very few people thought it's USA + China gross combined would fall short of 300m.

Aaaaand at the bottom of sfran43's chart is Spectre, which is only making 8000 per day. The theaters should pull it. It won't make it to 200m.

He's always been hit or miss at the box office, and when he misses, he really misses. Zoolander 2 was a sequel that was both 10 years too late (and was a sequel to a movie that was always more of a cult hit than a mainstream one) and was apparently not worth the wait, a quality that was reflected in its mostly laugh-free marketing.

Good numbers for the top 7 (minus Caesar) but you can tell that screen and showtime drops have killed some of the old and not so Old holdovers.

Yeah I got all the wolverine jokes in the movie, which I found really funny, but didn't realise that was from another X Men movie. I know Deadpool is part of X-Men so I just thought it was jokes about X-Men.
